    "Get me out of here, Ruru. We need to find what the frick is going on around here, and I'm not too fond of enclosed spaces for long periods of time. And keep me updated, yeah?"

    *Walking back over to the desk, Aihara puts up his feet and settles down for a doze.*

    As the newley assigned VC of the 8th division went off to check over form where the unstable reiatsu surges were coming from the Billy De Niro was asked to be left to protect the HQ while his taicho was away.


    This is a mission for Squee Bly alone, and for the captain if her ever arrives on time, but even if he does, can the vice captain hold them out just being by him self?

    its a good time to die they said, but for who?

    "Those frickin' alarms!"

    *Aihara swats at the bell on the wall with a rolled-up newspaper, only to have it shredded by the vibrations of the emergancy enchantment*

    "GAH! Is there nothing I can do in here by myself?"

    *Suddenly, Aihara senses a flare of reiatsu from beyond the doorway. He turns his head, a smile now forming on his serene face. The battle had arrived.*

    "You can come out now. I know you're there."

    ~noticing the shinigami the person stepped out fro a portal looking like this~

    ~suddenly the witch pointed her right index finger at hi and prepared for a shot which looked like cero~

    Its great power caused the entire HQ to crash from the inside, thus destroying i completley by the looks of it, no one could've survived that blast

    *Aihara watched placidly as the room seemed to cave in around him, large chunks of the ceiling pounding into the cramped room, shattering the furniture that littered the room*

    "Waaah! What was that for??"

    *As the floors above collapsed, time seemed to falter; the falling debris began to slow, and the color seemed to drain from the room until all that was left was shades of grey and gold. A voice screamed from beside his ear, the hot breath making him cringe*

    "Squeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee, you baka! What in the name of glittery things do you think you're doing? Just sitting here, letting a common witch into your HQ, while the building collapses around you!"

    *Aihara grit his teeth and, turning to Kesshou Aijin (his Zanpakuto's spirit), he let out a vicious growl as he spoke*

    "Are you just going to berate me, or are you here to help? Because if it's the first option, then I'm sure you know what you can do with your talk of 'glittery things' and 'common witch'."

    "Contrary to popular belief, Kane-kun, not all that glitters is gold. Do you not remember who we are? We are Aihara Kanezane and Kesshou Aijin, Gobantai Fuku-Taichou. Think about it."

    *Kesshou Aijin vanished and, as the color filtered back into the world, a smile gently lifting the corners of his mouth. Time restored itself as gradually as it stopped, and Aihara found himself dropping to the floor and raising his hands towards the crumbling walls around him.*

    "Bakudo 37; Tsuriboshi!"

    *Strings of spiritual energy blast from his hands, forming a net that anchors itself to the walls, catching the falling debris from above. He sighed with relief, choked on the clogging dust, and began to crawl towards the entrance, intent on finding the witch*

    Sensing as though that there was a survivor she paused and waited observed what came of the HQ

    "so its you" she said seeing the survivor "I believe i owe you a fight"
    she placed down her hood and revealed her true identity "Magenta Estevan, pleasure to meet you" she said as she gave a bow to offer her respects

    "But i dont have time to play games with you since you're not my mission here." she said as her observation was correct "So this HQ really is protecting something" she said as the HQ that seems to have been demilished rebuilt its self and looked brand new

    "this is gonna be harder than i thought"

    *Aihara leapt to his feet, staring at the apparition before him*

    "Maggie?! I saw you die! You died before my eyes!"

    *The scene played out again in his head; the Hado spell he'd shot at her bringing her to her knees, her cries of vehemence at the surrounding shinigami, and her subsequent death*

    "You said you would never talk to us again, even in the depths of hell. So what's changed?"

    *Aihara drew his zanpakuto, looking briefly at the rapidly reconstructing room*

    "And what are you here for, if not to wage war upon those who halted your plans?"

    She smirked as she vanished before his eyes and re-apeared on top of the HQ that rebuilt is self.

    "i'm afraid your mistaken, for i'm not here for revenge but for an assasination" she said as she sat down and continued "But if so ever you get in my way, i swear to Aradia that tragedy shall befall you and your fellow men"

    "If you aren't here for revenge, then who are you assassinating? You realise that if it's someone from the Gotei, I'm going to have to stand in your way. There isn't any getting round it."

    "I told you before, I don't like repeating myself. Who are you trying to assassinate?"

    *He raised pointed a finger at her arms and a finger to his lips, whispering as the frown disappating to form an expression of placid intrigue*

    "Bakudo no Ichi: Sai."

    Realizing he blocked her attack she tiped the zanpakuto away but realized he was behind her"He's quick" she thought as she noticed he already casted a spell on her.

    "Fool, you dare use low level spells on me, who do you think your facing here?" she smirked as leonelle stepped forward to protect her from him while the kido was still in effect.

    "Its against our principles to tell the enemy of our intentions, i thought you figured it out from our prvious encounter" she continued "I'm a little dissapointed to find out that your this slow"

    She started laughing as she released the collar from leonelle neck which connects him to her with spiritual chains " Fuubi tomo" she whuspred on his ears as Leonelle's appearance changed into a more human form, like an angel of death weilding a death scyth.

    " Leonelle, lo uccide" she continued as he vanished from infront of her then reapeared 5 feet above the air summoning a purple energy ball which he formed on his right hand and blasted it towards the shinigami "con piacere, signora" he replied to her

    *Waiting until the last moment, Aihara shunpo'd between the energy ball and Leonelle, throwing a punch at the familiar's face as he unsheathed his zanpakuto with his left hand, pointing it towards the witch*

    Seeing as the energy was simply evaded with ease it made a huge impact when it hit the ground creating a huge explosion leaving a large crater behind.

    "troppo veloce" he said as he got punched on the right side of his face causing him to get pushed away a few steps back closer to his master

    Maggie laughed as he can now move his arms bit by bit "If your gonna say something, just go ahead and say it, i didnt escape the 1st division dungeons just by mere coincidence" she smirked as she stood up with completely breaking free from the kido "I'm not here to mingle, Leonelle attacco!" she ordered as leonelle spun round flying in a very fast speed attempting to slash the shinigami's right arm off suing both his hands to wield the large scythe

    *Aihara leapt backwards, avoiding the vicious slash by inches, before continuing to talk in a pleasant manner*

    "You don't get the fact that I'm going to have to kill you this time, and there's no-one around to stop me. Ookami-taichou isn't here to save you this time, Maggie, and you'd better have something better up your sleeve than some vines and a scythe..."

    *Pointing the tip of his zanpakuto towards the familiar, Aihara laughed, releasing a blistering amount of spiritual pressure and cried out manically*

    "Hado no Hachiju-Hachi: Hiryugekizokushintenraiho!"
