AWOL or MIA - What does this mean?

I know MIA means Missing In Action but AWOL is something new to me.

AWOL means absent without leave. I Should have explained it before.

Well it will be up to you whether you wanna go to a different squad or just wander around the forums.

Suzaku, I appreciate it that you have decided to stay. This is good.

However, do not post a resignation unless you really wish to leave.

Since it has never been stated, I will not consider this under the rule.

Just like applications, resignations are final once posted. We do this to avoid the problem of not knowing if someone is in the division or wishes to leave. It may sound harsh, but it creates problems, so we treat everything as final.

I am sure you were not aware of this, and as such, that is why I am simply deleting the posting. But having this in here now, everyone will be aware of it.

I do hope you enjoy your time in the division, and I hope we can get you involved in as many things as possible.

I am leaving only until monday. I might be back on before then, that just depends on the circumstances. I will be at a cousins house for his birthday and he doesn't have a computer, I might be back on tomorrow, or monday. Just wanted to say this. I will be on today but i won't be on after 4 today.

I am back now. I decided to get back on today. I thought that I was going to stay at the party and stay with my cousin at his house but it didn't happen so I came back earlier.

I'm sorry you are leaving Nance, but I have to say I understand. We've been doing this together for a long time.

I hope all goes well with you, and you are going to remain a 7th Division member. As long as we've been together, you've earned that.

As a retired member, I am going to start a tradition as Captain.
When a member retires and is placed in the retirement thread, I am going to assign you a title as your rank, in honor of your service with us.

Well, I am going to keep this simple, as I choose to be a man of few words.

I have decided to retire.

Not because I am bored, upset, or I dislike anything, I simply have no way to be the captain I should.

With work and grad school, I no longer have the time to put into it I once did. And now with my internet off at home, access to even get here is difficult.

Please forgive me you guys for leaving, I was planning to make it longer, but unfortunately it didn't work out.
