Shinigami Academy Cafeteria

Michael walks into the cafeteria, He looks about and then raises his nose into the air sniffing the good food of the cafeteria. He walks over to where the food is being served. He takes a look first and then goes off and takes a plate, He walks over to where there serving food and begins to see what they have istalled. He looks about with a fair smile on his face.

Ashe had what little she owned packed in a plain rucksack on her back. She had already said goodbye to her roommates and some of her training partners that she had made friends with over the many years here. It almost was odd realizing that she would no longer be here, but doing the job she had been training for all this time. It made her excited and nostalgic at the same time. Was this what 'feeling old' was like? She pondered on this and many other things as she dropped by the Cafeteria, starving after her little session with Captain Michael. Getting some fruit she sat down at an empty table and munched happily as she gazed around her at the many faces of the Academy goers.

Ryuu was assigned to the SA academy to serve them his specialty, the 'lonesome onion soup' they call it. It was soup of the day, and he was the only one who could make it best. They called him from the 2nd division, and surprisingly he came out of his own will.

"One bowl of soup, and that's it" He told the students who fell in line. "I will remember your faces, and i did a number on you when i was a student here back then, so don't mess with me."

Munching the juicy fruit Ashe sighed as she found she was still hungry. Then glancing towards the growing line of students for soup she pursed her lips as her stomach gurgled again and then drew light around her and deflected it to make her invisible and masking her spiritual pressure before cutting to the front of the line and then sneaking behind the Shinigami who was giving out the soup to grab one of her own.

Strangely, it suddenly felt cold for some reason, startling Ryuu's senses, the hair on his body momentarily shoot up, then dropped down as he figured what was going on. "YOU!" he pointed towards a student who snuck up for another bowl. "I told everyone one bowl, YEAH!? You want more? How about i give yah som beatin? EhhY?" He jumped on the table seemingly looking for a fight. "You give that bowl back or I'll beat some sense into you senseless!"


He chased after the student who slurped into his soup like it was a bowl of heaven. "COME BACK HERE!" He was really chasing after him, looks like this is gonna be a while.

Ashe jumped and then froze at the sudden shout and didn't move a muscle as the Shinigami serving the soup pointed....at some random student next to her, doing the same thing. Letting out a small sigh of relief as he persisted to run around trying to escape she smiled and took a sip from her bowl. It was very delicious and warmed her up to the core. Then walking over to where she knew the boy was running she stuck an invisible foot out to trip the thief student before letting the light around her fade so she would become visible again.

The runaway soup thief was tripped by an invisible foot, or so, it seemed that, way, he wasnt sure, things were happening so fast that he lost his ability to move about, he fell over the student he was chasing, causing them to roll over several feet more, causing quite a mess inside the cafeteria. "What th.... the?"

Ryuu had stars on his vision, seeing doubles, it was quite a fall, the student was knocked out, but it seems he is in heaven do to the soup. As Ryuu's vision got back to him, he saw the perpetrator. "AHA!" he pointed towards the girl, but this time he was in a trance.

Blood dripped down his forehead, but he was up to his old tricks again, taking her hand and holding it close. "What pleasure do i owe this beautiful damsel in distress"

Ashe finished her soup after the runaway student went down and dropped the empty bowl on his back. "And that's what you get for stealing. Glutton."
She then blinked at the Shinigami who had tripped over the student and looked worriedly at the mess behind him and the blood on his forehead. She reached a hand up to wipe it away and see to his wound when that hand was taken and held close. Blinking in confusion at first she then took in the words with a puzzled blush before thinking on it. "Well now I wouldn't really call me a damsel in distress... I may be a damsel but I am certainly not in any sort of distress. But are you all right?" She questioned, motioning to the man's head wound.

His eyes glittered as she wiped his blood away, it was a momentary heaven from him, one which his soup could not bring him. "Ka...kawaii..." he thought. But keeping up with his manliness he coughed, and replied. "Blood is worth spilling if heaven will appear before me like this. Takasu Ryuuto, 2nd Divison 3rd seat. A pleasure to meet such a beautiful person in real life, I never had, and never will, it's certain."

Dramatic lighting effect appeared out of nowhere shining over him like heavens grace. "That's just the story... of my lonesome life." His expression was serious, as if waves could be seen crashing wildly in his eyes.

Ashe stopped in her cleaning of his head wound for a moment as she thought she saw something in his eyes but then finished and threw away the dirty cloth before performing a small healing kido spell to fix his cut and then nodded at her work.
She wasn't sure what he meant by blood worth spilling and heaven and all that but she smiled at his name and rank. But the smile froze in surprise and again confusion as he showered her with flattery. Blushing she responded, "Well Takasu Ryuuto, I am Ashe Ventus, 6th Division and have yet to be seated as I was only just recruited today. Was actually about to head over there.. And..I'm sure that you're saying that because of the blow to your head, don't worry I'm sure you'll be fine soon enough." She nodded reassuringly as she patted the top of his hand.

Her innocence intrigued him, he shook his head, "No it's for certain, you are an angel from the heavens, and maybe the bump on my head killed me, im seeing an apparition of a beautiful angel sent by the HE, God him self." He nods agreeing tom his statement, letting drop of her hand slowly.

He gave her a Ryuu smile, the best smile he could wear with his God given face. "It's nice to make your acquaintance, Ashe Ventus, 6th Division Recruit, can i, a humble shinigami offer you his services, perhaps a tour, or any sort of help that requires human labor?"

Blinking at the sentence she chuckled a little as she blushed at the ridiculous compliments. "Aren't we all angels of death here in the seireitei though~? And we're all dead. And have powers of what lesser beings might call godly. It's all a matter of perspective you see." She nodded wisely as she took back her hand.
Then as he continued she beamed brightly back at him before stating, "Well actually... I don't suppose you could help me get back to Squad 6? I'm supposed to live in the barracks there now I suppose but not really sure where they are... I literally was just recruited before I came back here to get my things." She motioned to her rucksack on her shoulder.

"I'll be glad to company you milady" He grins turning only to see the already chaotic line he left. "The cafeteria can manage on its own, by the looks of it, i've never been to the 6th division my self, but i do know where it is". He noticed she only had a few stuff to cary, but that didn't stop him from being himself. "Please, allow me to carry your stuff for you, it's the least i can do, for bringing me back to life." He still thinks she's an angel of the dead, when they were death, there were still angels who see them when they almost die, and he believed she was one of them. He nodded agreeing to the thoughts in his head, to anyone, it would appear a bit strange, but its mostly just how he is.

Ashe smiled as he said the cafeteria could manage on it's own and she nodded, looking around. Really looking she noticed a few of the stares they were receiving from some of the students. Word had traveled that she had graduated and was already recruited. She would miss being at the academy. Sighing she turned back to Takasu and forced a smile again before blinking at his offer to carry her bag. Shaking her head she said, "Oh no sir, I couldn't have a higher rank do that. I'm just a recruit, I'll manage. And I certainly did not bring you back to life hehe."
She found his sillyness kind of interesting and was intrigued, she'd never come across such a flirtatious shinigami.

Ryuu shook his head, "As a man, its my duty to carry a beautiful girls bag, but if she doesn't want that, it's fine, I'll respect her decision, as a Man." he smiled at her and turned towards the door. An old lonesome warrior song sounded from somewhere, matching his dramatic exit. "I'll lead the way, and you can follow me" Giving one dramatic look before opening the door, he walked passed it tripping.

Ashe chuckled at all the mentions of how Takasu was 'a Man' and shook her head. Following the older Shinigami as she hitched her bag up on her shoulder she nodded at his suggestion. She wasn't sure that was the best thing to do as he had just said he had never been to 6th squad but she wasn't about to usurp his 'manlyness'. ....But then he tripped. "U-Uhm maybe I should lead sir?" She offered good naturedly with a smile as she offered him a hand to steady himself.

Waving his hand upwards, face on the ground, he spoke. "Im fine, milady" he stood up and lead the way again, "I'm never like this, forgive my, clumsiness." taking small robotic steps, he was so stiff, like a stick that could easily break, he needed to calm him self, he needed to take this beautiful girl to the 6th Division area.

She blinked in confusion and a little worry as he simply waved her concern off before starting off again. Looking his stiff body up and down she shook her head and sighed before linking her arm in his, squeezing it and then quickly walked forward, tugging him along. "C'mon! No need to be so stiff jeez. I just graduated! Loosen up and help me celebrate. Race you there!" She smiled and tried to get the Shinigami to relax. He didn't seem to be the type that enforced rank separation so she felt that it was okay to do this.

Shocked by the sudden turn of events, he was suddenly challenged. "A race i cant turn down, milady." He grins, he might be a little flaky, a fight crazy and just over all crazy, but he knows how to have a good fun. "I'll treat you to something if i get first though, just a little something to welcome you to town" he smiled, speeding up.

"Oh really now? Mm...tempting... But I really don't like to lose."
She winked as she suddenly pulled her arm away and used shunpo to weave through the soul reapers, seeing little openings that she could squeeze through as she sped past to where the Squad 6 district was. She almost always won when she played tag and hoped that this race would add another score under her belt.

Ryuu was caught under a spell, bound by a goddess who fell from the sky, she disappeared with a shunpo, a technique he didn't know she acquired this early. "It's game then, i wouldn't wanna win a fight without a challenge either" he took a different path through the market area, many people, many distractions, but he liked the challenge.

Ashe glanced behind her but there was nothing to see but dust and Soul Reapers who were wondering why she was so rude to brush past them like that. Giggling she simply sped through, not worrying about them. But there was a large group of them and not wanting to turn around she leapt up onto the top of the buildings and started running on the roofs , now easily able to locate the 6th district. Why it was a floating city of all things she had no idea but at least it made it easier to find. From her high vantage point Ashe thought she saw Takasu somewhere in the market place below her and smiled in confidence... Before she lost footing on the shingles she was running on. Blinking as suddenly the world felt crooked, she saw the sky and then the the ground rushing up to meet her faster than she could get her bearings.
