Haha. You 7th divisioners huh? Ok well Miss Reika, I mean Jenny, other things like battle, a challenge, and beautiful women are all things that pull the excited trigger for me.

-Ken is amused by the coversation with Jenny-

-As the conversation continued his amusement grew stronger-

You know Jenny, your an intriguing woman. Sometimes I think I've got you figured out, then it's like I dont know you at all. Haha your fun miss Jenny. A mystery I would love to solve.

-He smiles admiring her grace-

It would be my pleasure miss Jenny.

-He walked over next to her looking up-

Yea it really is beautiful.

-Ken begins to walk with her leisurely and gracefully. The night is still crisp and it glows bright-

So how is the 11th division taicho?

Ha, now you have to tell me. What is it Miss Jenny?

-He asks her wondering what it is, yet still thinking about her description of battle. It intrigued him more than anything he had seen or heard of in his life. Then he began to wonder just exactly how powerful Miss Jenny is. He never seems to feel her pressure much-

*As Haji wanders in, his usual slight look of confusion beaming in his facial expression, he fails to notice the two talking, or so it seems.

As he wanders past them he speaks to himself out loud*

"Hmmm... This doesn't look like my HQ...

At least I don't remember that tree being in my office...

Maybe I should have gone left instead of right..."

*scratching his head he looks at Ken-san and Jenny Taichou*

"Lost again aren't I?"

-Ken turns around now facing his Taicho-

Haha I guess so Haji. Well since your here you might as well join us.

-Ken paused and looked at Miss Jenny with a smile. After listening to her story, he felt as inspired as he was reading on Taicho Haji's files. Both really fierce warriors who are fit to be taicho-

Hmm. Well Miss Jenny. It seems I have begun to enjoy our conversations more than the many beautiful things in life. You keep me on my toes... Anyway, don't worry I promise I won't hesitate to ask you what is on my mind. I feel if I didn't ask you I would be angry with myself. Haha and thank you Miss Jenny for the compliment. It's nice to be the one complimented on for a change.

-Ken kneeled down on one knee and looked up at the stars. His haired was gently pulled back by the breeze-

You know, Miss Jenny, Taicho, I have big dreams and goals. I too intend to strive up to the Taicho position. This will mean I am strong enough to protect anyone from harm...Anyone.

-Ken kept staring at the glowing sky with his brother on his mind-

-Ken looked up at her as she gently pressed the back of her hand on his cheek. He grabbed it, stood up and looked in her eyes-

Your words have always inspired me. The wisdom you speak of makes me happy I met you. I will rise up because I do have something to fight for...Thank you, Miss Jenny.

-Ken turned and kissed her on the cheek and stepped back-

I must go, earn my credit.

-He said with one corner of his mouth turning into a smile-

"Something to prove you say?"

*Haji stands with his arms folded behind his back, looking longly into the sky*

"I suppose there are truths in those words.

Even the greediest of people have something to prove. Those who crave power seek it to prove they are worthy of it.

Those who long for money seek to prove they are capable of taking it.

Those who long for other voracious cravings do so to prove their skills...

So in so much as the basic idea goes; I couldn't agree with you more.

Where you and I differ is our methods..."

*continuing to look up at the sky, Haji continues*

"I have always admired your ferocity in combat. They way you will leap into the fray with no forethought or concern for the circumstances.

But I cannot do such...

I am, how would you say, more methodical and tedious about it. I just assume take joy in watching my enemy destroy their self, as I would bath my hands in their blood.

Do not misunderstand; I fear nothing in this existence, I simply chose to fight with a different means, for motivations that I know only in my mind.

I hide these motivations for one purpose; to confuse my enemy, and at times intimidate.

Like the strength that is gained from the will to overcome something for a greater purpose, there is just as much in facing an opponent who has no idea what you seek.

In doing so, my opponent cannot see my weaknesses, for he must sure up all his own first.

Without known motivations, my opponent can be certain where I will attack, and if said attack is just a diversion or the real thing.

Basically, I fight to break my opponents mind;

Once I do that; the spirit is broken;

Once the spirit is broken; the body will crumble back to the dust it rose from..."

*Haji laughs for a moment quietly to himself*

"Oblivious you say?

Well that would entail that I don't know what's truly going on around me..

Much to the contrary of my philosophy..."

*as he passes by her to leave, he lightly brushes his hand over her cheek and whispers*

"I'm never as oblivious as I appear..."

*having spoken, he slowly walks away, arms folded behind his back: Humming a strange tune..*
